PLAY AND TRAIN PROGRAM!

Play and Train at RyeDoodle Boarding and Training offers pet parents an alternative to traditional “boot camp style” training, classes, or coaching sessions. In Play And Train, dogs learn by working one-on-one with a trainer in short sessions throughout the morning, with breaks for play and rest. Play in our Play and Train program may include nose work, barn hunt, agility, swim sessions, and supervised “pair play” if appropriate.

Studies have shown that dogs learn best when taught in short sessions followed by play or rest. Our Play and Train program allows us to do the hard work of teaching and proofing behaviors, while owners learn to reinforce and retain the skills at home.

For Play and Train, dogs will be dropped off with us each day, Monday through Friday, but return home to spend evenings with you! There are four different programs that offer different benefits and opportunities for learning.

Dogs attending Play and Train training come home tired and fulfilled! They also benefit from small group work and social activities (when appropriate). Progress reports and training videos are provided.
